Sri Maha Ganapathy at Panvel Ashram
On
the occasion of Mahakumba-Abhishekam of Sri Mahaganapathy temple
by His Holiness The Shankaracharya on 23rd January 2003, the introduction
of Nirantara Pooja to Sri Maha Ganapathy on the ground
floor of Janakalyan Sevashram new premises at Panvel was
started. The main
beneficiaries have been the Ashramites, for whom this has been a
good source of mind diversion and morale booster.
The
salient features of Nirantara Pooja are :
Any
person contributing Rs1000 (Rupees One Thousand Only)
once in his / her lifetime ,a Special Pooja of Abhishekam
and Archana will be performed to the Sri Maha Ganapathy on a
particular date {may be birthday or wedding anniversary} of the
donor throughout the donor’s lifetime, i.e. one day in a year.
The Prasadam packet containing kumkum and vibhooti will be sent
by post to the donor’s address.
On
contributing Rs.5000 (Rupees Five Thousand Only)
once in his / her lifetime, the donor will receive
Nirmalya Chandana Prasadam on a particular day 
earmarked
by the donor. Full Chandanakapu of Manually Ground Chandanam
(Sandal
wood paste)
will
be performed to Sri Maha Ganapathy on that day throughout the
donor’s lifetime. The Nirmalya Chandana Prasadam
along with the Kumkumam and Vibhooti Prasdams will be sent to
the donor by post.
