| To day's Children are
tomorrow's Citizens.......
In order to augment our financial
resources, we had started a Children 's Education
Fund in 2006. At that time we has on our rolls 130 School going children, of which 120 alone
were at our Bal
Mandir at Panvel. These children are unfortunate victims of
broken families, or orphaned or destitutes from the slums.
Our aim is to ensure that these junior citizens get
their basic rights of survival, education, health care and
a happy childhood.
With our earnest desire to widen the
spread of free education amongst the poor, we have decided
to increase the strength from the existing number to 200
students from June 2008 onwards.
The children are spread out from
Jr. K.G. to Standard XI, and are admitted to English &
Marathi medium schools near by. The Tiny Tots are
transported to their respective schools & back to the
Ashram by hired contract vehicle.
We are fortunate in having 12
teachers, who have volunteered to stay in our Ashram full
time to coach and take care of the children throughout ..
free of cost.
We Aim To Give
Them The Best... Which They Deserve.
To day's cost of basic education
has risen to unexpected heights. The monthly fees,
expenses on text & note books, 4 pairs of school
uniforms, Conveyance etc., leaves a big dent in our scanty
resources. Moreover the manpower & expenses at
the new premises is expected to add to the cost
burden.
We Need Your
Help to Help them.
To meet the steep rise in
expenses on account of children's needs, we have embarked
upon a large scale fund raising
scheme.
You could help in sponsoring a
child for a small amount of Rs. 2500/- per month or
Rs. 30,000/- per year.
You could also help in
donating a small amount of Rs. 1,200/- in Our
Children Education Fund, which will go a long way in
meeting the day to day expenses of the destitute
children.
It is earnestly believed that all
philanthropic minded people will whole heartedly welcome
such a scheme with strong support and encouragement.
Remember, Aristotle the ancient
Greek Philosopher once said "Those who educate children well are more to be
honoured
than parents, for these only gave life, those the art of
living well."
