By the grace
of The almighty, we are blessed to expand our existing
Ashram. A new Children Home "BAL MANDIR"
a three-storyed building with twelve rooms and a
built-up area of approximately 6500 sqft. has been built
in Panvel, Navi Mumbai. This building has been dedicated
exclusively for school going children and can
accommodate 100 boys and 100
girls.
This new premises which is adjacent to the Ashram , was inaugurated on Sunday the
23rd. October 2005. This Children Home
Hostel is being managed by enthusiastic volunteers of Janakalyan Sevashram and
will house the present as well as new orphaned
/ destitute children.
The Strength of school going
children in 2005-06 was 75. This academic year we have
120 children on our rolls and we are happy, that we are
able to comfortably accommodate these children and
give them the basics in life.
In addition to, we are having 16
students who are studying Vedas to up-hold our ancient
philosophical values under the guidance of residential
teachers.

The children are unfortunate victims of
broken families, or orphaned or destitutes from the slums.
Our aim is to ensure that these junior citizens get
their basic rights of survival, education, health care and
a happy childhood.
